History Of Injustice

Houston!

Iranian men and women have been oppressed and stripped of their rights by the Islamic Republic regime of Iran since the 1979’s revolution.

Iranian women are forced to wear the hijab, often stopped on the street, lashed in public, or imprisoned for their lack of a decent hijab, for taking a walk with a male friend, or even for riding a bicycle in public.

Iranian women are treated as second class citizens in their own country. They are denied a passport, travel visa, hotel room, education and much more without the male head of the household’s approval. According to the constitution, Iranian woman’s vote as a witness counts as half of a vote of an Iranian man in any situation or court.

Iranian men have been struggling to support their families because of the broken Islamic Republic regime has been suffocating the nation’s economy for decades. There is no direct relation between the level of education and success. We have educated, talented, proud, and compassionate men in our country that have continuously been tortured for expressing their opinion or defending their women. They are denied due process, legal representation, and medical attention while in prison. So many Hossein Ronaghi’s, an Iranian blogger, have been shoved into a van, taken to prison and denied a simple hearing.

The Islamic Republic of Iran tapes forced confessions of prisoners and broadcasts them to the nation to inject fear & terror. Underage killing and torture in Iran have erupted during the past 9 weeks. The Government has been organ harvesting, desecrating, and throwing bodies in mass burials. Unfair trials resulting in death sentences or life imprisonment for journalists, artists or any normal citizen who speaks out and criticizes the regime have been taking place in minutes and inside small cells of prisons.

The government has not just been providing war weapons to Russia to slaughter Ukrainians, It has also been using war weapon on Iranian civilians and even cut out the utilities in cold regions of Iran to put people under pressure.

Because of the human rights violations, currently the financial boycotts and strikes have been extended to add economic pressure to the government.

Make no mistake “Always Strong Houston”, This is a Revolution! Stand with us today, in solidarity with Iran and be our voice.

Because injustice in Iran is Injustice everywhere!
